Special General Meeting

Casino Royale Massey Student Ball
Saturday 4th October, The Refectory, 7pm - late
University Ball Season is officially back, and with the best theme ever! Casino Royale is the first James Bond novel written by Ian Fleming. It has since been adapted into two movies you can watch for inspiration (alongside a dozen other casino themed films). Think 1960s glamour, Vegas, elegance, luxury, formal attire, gowns and cocktail dresses.
This is your chance to get dressed up with your friends, get some pics, have a boogie and make some memories.
You can expect DJs, a wonderful sit-down dinner, casino games, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase, and the team from Red Frog helping us to keep the space safe and enjoyable for all.
This event is R-18 and is for Massey students, but graduates and non-Massey students are also welcome to attend and can purchase our "Public" tickets.
This event will be held at The Refectory (to be confirmed), Massey University Manawatū. Doors open at 7pm.

Post-Study Work Visa Workshop

We are hosting an online workshop for both international students & recent graduates who are interested in understanding the Post-Study Work Visa application process. In this workshop, we aim to:
- Provide up-to-date and practical information about student visa conditions.
- Educate students on the Post-Study Work Visa application process.
- Clarify common misunderstandings and answer student-specific visa queries.
- Connect students with reliable resources and support networks.
We will be joined by guest speakers from the Massey International Student Support Advisor & Visa Team, and Alex Zhang (Licensed Immigration Advisor, Chance Immigration). Plus, all Massey student attendees will go in the draw to win one of 10 $20 gift cards!

We're in the process of reviewing Te Tira Ahu Pae's representation structure, and we'd like to hear from you, the students we represent! We'll be taking you through the proposed change options, hosting a Q&A session and explaining our consultation process so that you can share your feedback. This is a chance for students to help shape a new model that better reflects your needs and voices, so we encourage everyone to take part!
